He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
Around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Miami Twp. police responded to stabbing reported at a residence on Orchard Run Road.
Police arrived to find two men fighting in a side yard, according to court records.
Officers separated the men transported them to the hospital.
An investigation determined Ajak went to the other man’s residence to hurt and kill him, according to court documents.
“Mario walked up and attacked the victim using a folding pocketknife,” the affidavit read. “Mario also used rocks he found on the ground to assault the victim with.”
The man had cuts to his face, arms and legs. One of his fingers was severely injured. He was treated at the hospital and has been released.
Ajak was arrested and is being held in the Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000.
Police are continuing to investigate and working to determine a motive.
